QUICKLY ASSESS CURRENT BUSINESS PERFORMANCE, IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES & RISKS. PRIORITIZE QUICK WINS TO ACHIEVE FINANCIAL TARGETS. EVALUATE OPERATIONS & INFRASTRUCTURE AND ADVISE RECOMMENDATIONS, IF NECESSARY. KEY FOCUS ON SUPPORTING THE WOMEN’S BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH, INCLUDING THE CRITICAL HIRE AND ONBOARDING OF THE WOMEN’S TEAM.

PROJECT SCOPE:

  • CURRENT BUSINESS & OPERATIONS ASSESSMENT: deep dive into historical and current product assortment and performance; review current weekly KPI templates, hindsight reports, and other relevant templates – suggest improvements and/or share best practice templates

  • review OTC sales & inventory positions – advise opportunities/assess risk

  • review current OTB, inventory templates– suggest improvements and/or share best practice templates

  • evaluate and advise on historical & current price and promotional strategies; review current marketing / promotional planning calendars / templates – suggest improvements and/or share best practice templates; provide templates, RACI, etc.

  • review current development & upcoming product assortments; advise opportunities

  • women’s competitive review – product, price, promotion, target customer, etc.

  • develop Q4 revenue generation strategy – focus on product, price & promotion

  • evaluate current GTM process; develop WOMEN’S: GO TO MARKET; develop stacked seasonal GTM calendar, including suggestions for NEW potential category launches - with key milestones.

  • identify opportunities & resources needed to scale the business, including people, technology / systems, and processes - including cross functional integration

  • Q4 2020 REVENUE INITIATIVES: identify, pursue, and help GLD team execute upon initiatives to generate near-term (Q4’20) revenue. Representative initiatives include: chase/add new product,refine gifting strategy, brainstorm new ideas for consumer engagement - activations, contests, brainstorm further bundling opportunities; develop list of contingency levers / promos that can be utilized as needed to help hit targets

  • assist CEO with developing plan to liquidate slow-moving / obsolete inventory

  • WOMEN’S: REVENUE GENERATION Outline opportunities and actionable strategies to amplify and/or accelerate women’s current and YTG performance.

  • WOMEN’S: RECRUIT/HIRE/ONBOARD MERCHANT/BUYING LEAD: partner with GLD leadership/H.I.G. team to ensure a smooth transition

  • support quickly on-boarding the Women’s Director with respect to: i) providing an overview of the Women’s business, ii) developing 30-60-90 day plan with specific, targeted deliverables – and YTG expectations / definition of success, iii) ramping up Women’s Director on all templates, processes, and technology (iv) advise strategic insight on short/mid/long term opportunities.

  • act as a mentor and liaise to the candidate with management.

RESULTS:

  • 100% of all deliverables were completed on time
